Our new home
Interior design - a passion I live every day
Interior design has always been more than just part of my work—it’s something I genuinely live and breathe.
Over the past three years, that passion has taken on a whole new meaning as we embarked on building our own home from the ground up. Like many self-build journeys, it’s been far from straightforward. What we thought might be a relatively smooth process turned into a longer and more challenging experience - an 18-month delay just to get electricity connected.
But as with any good project, the journey has been as important as the outcome.
We finally moved in, and while there’s still plenty to do, the house is beginning to take shape in a way that reflects everything I love about design - thoughtful spaces, layered textures, and a balance between function and feeling.
This project has been a true labour of love, giving me the opportunity to explore ideas in real time, work closely with local trades, and bring together all the elements that turn a house into a home.
I’m delighted to share a glimpse of the progress so far, and I look forward to continuing the journey as each space evolves.
